Before the opening credits
- A Samsung Smart TV; Smart IPTV is listed only for 2022 and later models (Tizen 6.5 or newer)
- A Samsung account, if the store asks you to sign in
- Your Nartiel8k Xtream login, or the M3U link if you choose Smart IPTV
- A phone or laptop within reach for the Smart IPTV playlist upload
- A network cable to the TV, if the router is close enough
One thing to know first: there is no Nartiel8k app to hunt for. The subscription is a login, and any player in these guides accepts it. Not subscribed yet? Ask for the 24-hour Nartiel8k trial, or see what each plan length costs.
Seven moves from the home screen to the first feature
Choose between IPTV Smarters Pro and Smart IPTV
For a household that mostly watches films and series, IPTV Smarters Pro is the better Samsung player: after an Xtream Codes login it shows Live TV, Movies and Series as separate sections, with seasons and episodes laid out under each show. Smart IPTV is lighter and very steady for live channels, but it reads the M3U link as one long list of groups and charges a one-off activation fee per television once its trial ends. Take Smarters for the library; add Smart IPTV only if live TV is the point of this screen.
Find the model year
Open Settings, Support, About This TV and read the model code. A letter inside the code marks the year on recent sets: B for 2022, C for 2023, D for 2024. Smart IPTV is offered only on 2022 and later models, which run Tizen 6.5 or newer. IPTV Smarters Pro reaches older sets in most countries, and if neither is offered, the fix is a stick plugged into a free HDMI input, never a change to the TV’s settings.
Install the player from the Samsung store
Press Home, move to Apps, and select the magnifying glass at the top of the store. Type the player’s name with the on-screen keyboard, open its page and choose Install, then Open. If the store asks for a Samsung account, sign in once; the television remembers it for later installs and updates.
Smarters route: enter the Xtream login
In IPTV Smarters Pro choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Name the profile, then copy in the three details from the WhatsApp chat, http:// and port included. Switch the on-screen keyboard to its number row for the port rather than hunting for digits letter by letter. Save, and let the app sync the live list and the movie and series catalogs before you open anything.
Smart IPTV route: send the M3U link to the TV
Launch Smart IPTV; its first screen shows the TV’s MAC address and names the upload page to use. On a phone or laptop, open that page, type the MAC, paste your M3U link from the chat and send it. Then close the app properly with the Back button and open it again: the channel groups load from the link. Keep the MAC written down, since you need it again after any reinstall.
Set the panel for movie night
Open Settings, Picture, Picture Mode and choose Filmmaker Mode where the TV lists it, or Movie on older sets. Under Expert Settings, set Picture Clarity to Off, or to Custom with blur and judder reduction at zero, so films keep their own motion instead of the smeared smoothness of a video camera. If you later add a box for 4K, its HDMI port also needs Input Signal Plus switched on, under the external device settings.
Verify with a 4K film and a live channel
Open Movies in Smarters, choose a category marked 4K or UHD if the shelf has one, and play two minutes, including a fast scene. Samsung sets do not always display the resolution of a built-in app, so judge the picture: fine detail in faces and text should look crisp rather than soft. Then switch to Live TV and play a channel you watch often. Both clean means the television is ready for the evening.
Samsung Smart TV troubleshooting, symptom by symptom
Smart IPTV is not in the store
The television is older than 2022, or runs a Tizen version below 6.5, so the store does not offer it. Use IPTV Smarters Pro instead, which reaches older models in most countries. If neither player is listed, plug a streaming stick, Fire TV or Google TV, into a free HDMI input; do not change the TV’s region, which can break other apps and updates.
Smart IPTV shows the MAC address and an empty list
Either the link went to a different MAC or the app has not been restarted since the upload. A MAC uses only digits and the letters A to F, so a letter O is always a zero. Upload again against the exact MAC, close the app with Back, and reopen it.
A film starts with sound but a black picture
The television cannot decode that particular file in that player. Try the same title from another quality on the shelf, if the category offers one, or open it in the other Samsung player. If one title in twenty does this, a stick in a spare port ends it, because its decoder is more forgiving.
Films look strangely smooth, like a video recording
That is motion smoothing. Set Picture Clarity to Off under Expert Settings, or choose Filmmaker Mode, which switches it off for you along with most other processing. The effect disappears the moment the setting changes.
The player asks for the login again after an update
A television firmware or app update can clear the player’s stored data. Re-enter the three values from the original WhatsApp message, which is why it is worth starring that message in the chat. Your subscription is unaffected.
Smart IPTV says its trial has ended
That message concerns the app, not your Nartiel8k plan. Smart IPTV charges its own one-off activation per television, paid to the app developer. Pay it if you like the app, or switch to IPTV Smarters Pro, which has no such fee.
Still stuck after these? Photograph the screen and send it to support on WhatsApp; a picture of the exact message saves ten minutes of describing it.
Samsung Smart TV questions, answered for Nartiel8k viewers
Does Nartiel8k work on Samsung TVs?
Yes, on any Samsung Smart TV that offers IPTV Smarters Pro or Smart IPTV in its store, with no extra box. Smart IPTV is offered only to sets from 2022 onward, on Tizen 6.5 or later. For an older Samsung, a streaming stick in a free HDMI input does the job.
Is there a Nartiel8k app in the Samsung store?
No. Nartiel8k has no app of its own; you install a player from the Samsung store and sign it in with the login from WhatsApp. Ignore any listing that borrows the name, because nothing official carries it.
Will Dolby Vision titles play on a Samsung?
They play, but not in Dolby Vision, because Samsung televisions do not support that format. The set shows HDR10 or HDR10+ instead. Most 4K titles mastered in Dolby Vision also carry an HDR10 picture, and that is what a Samsung displays.
Can I use Nartiel8k on a 2018 or 2019 Samsung?
Usually, through IPTV Smarters Pro, which is offered on older Tizen sets in most countries. Smart IPTV is not, since it needs a 2022 or later model. If your store offers neither, a Fire TV Stick 4K or Google TV device in a spare HDMI port gives you the full movie library.
Do I pay extra for Smart IPTV on a Samsung TV?
A little, once. After a trial period the app asks for a single activation payment per television, which goes to whoever makes the app, separately from your Nartiel8k plan. IPTV Smarters Pro has no activation fee, which is one more reason to start with it for a movie-first household.
