Decide whether you need the M3U at all
If your player has an Xtream Codes option, use that and skip this page: it gives the library its own Movies and Series sections and fetches the program guide without help. The M3U link is for players that take nothing else, such as VLC, the IPTV Simple Client in Kodi, or Smart IPTV on a Samsung or LG.
Read the link before pasting it
It is a single line built around get.php, with your username and password written into it as parameters. Copy every character, from http:// to the end. Because the login sits inside the link, treat it like a password: keep it out of group chats, forums and screenshots.
Opening it in VLC
VLC keeps the option under its Media menu as Open Network Stream; drop the link into the address box there and press Play. The whole list then loads into the playlist panel, which takes a moment with 25,000+ channels in it. Kodi on a media PC or box

In Kodi it goes into the IPTV Simple Client EPG settings as the XMLTV URL; restart Kodi afterward.
Tame the length of the list
A playlist of this size is easier to live with when you work from groups and favorites. Kodi lets you make channel groups; VLC can save a shorter playlist of your own picks as a file. If a player chokes on the full list, ask in the chat whether a shorter version for your languages is possible.
Play a channel, then look for a title
Start a live channel from the list and let it run for a minute. Then look for the on-demand groups and start a title, if the playlist includes them. When both play, the link works. If only live channels appear, reach the library through the Xtream login in a player with a Movies section instead.
M3U playlist troubleshooting, symptom by symptom
VLC reports an error the moment it opens the link
The link was almost certainly cut short when it was copied, often where a message wrapped onto a second line. Copy it again from the chat, paste it into a plain note to check it is one unbroken line, then paste it into VLC.
Kodi shows no channels after the restart
The add-on has to be enabled, not only installed. Open Add-ons, then My add-ons, then PVR clients, and check that IPTV Simple Client is switched on. Then confirm the M3U setting is a remote path with the link in it, and restart Kodi once more.
The list takes minutes to appear
A playlist carrying 25,000+ channels, and the library if it is included, is a large file, and a basic player works through every single line before it displays a thing. If the wait becomes a habit, a player with an Xtream login loads by category and starts far sooner.
The guide stays empty in Kodi
The M3U carries channels, not listings. Add the xmltv.php address as the XMLTV URL in the add-on settings, restart, and give Kodi a minute to import the data before checking again.
Series show up as hundreds of loose episodes
That is how a playlist works: every episode is its own entry, with no season structure. For a series watched across several nights, use the Xtream login in a player with a Series section, where seasons and episodes sit in order.
The link suddenly stopped working
Check the plan first: terms never renew on their own, and the link stops on the last day. If the term is current, ask in the chat whether the details were reissued, and replace the link in every player that uses it.
